Who didn't see this coming?

No update this week, because last week was somewhat insane. I told myself that starting on January 1, I would find a new job. I had a new job on January 4. Most of my time since then has been spent preparing for this job, filling out forms, peeing in cups, the normal deal. It does surprise me how much your life can change in the span of days. Hell, it surprises me how much your life can change in ten years. When I was 16, I thought I'd be a novelist by now. Instead, I'm an almost-systems analyst and barred-to-practice-law-in-Maryland-but-do-not-want-to-practice-lawyer. I've done things, both positive and negative, that I never thought I would, like ride rollercoasters, go to law school, flirt with people of the opposite sex. It is stunning and scary what has happened, and I must say, though I never expected to live this long, I can't wait to see what's yet to come. Continued personal growth... man that's scary.
